What's new
The app changes most weeks. Here's how.

The snake, the hole owners, and the strip
- Who Holds What: a row on the clubhouse for the things that change hands — the group's held objects first, then this season's champion, the Wooden Spoon, the record plaques, the Iron Man, the last trip. One glance, no taps.
- Held objects. The commissioner starts one — The Snake, the Sweater of Shame, whatever the group calls it — with a rule for how it moves: worst hole of the day, highest score, biggest loser, or handed over by the group. Who holds it is worked out from the record, so a corrected card moves it the way it should have. Its page keeps the chain of custody, days served and the longest single stretch, and anyone can hand it on with a reason.
- Hole owners. Every hole at a course the group has played three times has an owner: whoever has made par or better there most often in the last ninety days. Frequency, not brilliance, so anyone can own one and it lapses if you stop turning up. The course card shows the OWNER row and who owns the course; the round page lists the holes it moved; the feed says who took what from whom; and the person who lost a hole hears about it.
- The strip. Every share of a round now carries the card as squares — blue for eagle, green for birdie, white for par, yellow, orange, red — with the number under it. On the recap's result card, in its message, and from a new Share pill on any filed round.
- Bingo Bango Bongo keeps the stroke card by default now. The game is won on points, but the strokes are what the record needs for the scoring average, the sandbag index and the hole owners. A group can still stop keeping it.

Settle up pays from the page
- Settle up is one page now. What's yours to pay comes first, with Pay in Venmo or Pay in Cash App when the person you owe has a handle on their profile; what's coming to you gets Request in Venmo; the payments between the others sit underneath for the record. Each says why it's what it is, and Mark paid & settled is the last thing on the page.
- The same page settles a trip tab, golf and shared costs together.

A cabinet for the trophies, and four more to win
- The trophy room is a cabinet now: a pine case with gold framing and lit shelves, three pieces to a shelf, each on its own plaque. What the group has won sits in colour; what it hasn't sits behind glass in grey with a lock.
- Tap a locked trophy to see it up close — the sculpture, how it's won, and how rare it is — so the group knows what's still out there.
- Four new sculpted trophies join the cabinet: The Closer, Desert King, Three-Peat and The Passenger. Trophies a group already chose keep their artwork.
- Trip pages carry their own artwork, the rivalry page flies paired pennants, and a recap can be shared as a result card with the round's players, amount, course and date on it. Sharing still goes through the system sheet; nothing is posted for you.
- Record sheets — the ledger, the record book, the story — open on the page itself, with a single close button in the corner instead of a title bar.

The group first, the story over time, and what you actually shot
- The clubhouse opens on the group now: who leads and by how much, everyone's standing, your own line under the table, the last round's result, and the latest activity — with the rivalry as one line beneath, not the room.
- The tab line says who: "Pay Brad $9" or "Jake owes you $9", with Pay in Venmo or Request in Venmo right there. The tab itself shows how it adds up — every open round as a column, the total beside each name — and says why each payment is what it is.
- The story so far: money over time, recent results, money in and out per player, who paid whom, what everyone shot, and the sandbag index over time. Reached from the Record tab, the ledger and the record book, for this season, the last twenty or all time.
- Nines count toward the sandbag index — measured against the nine's own par and doubled, the way a handicap system counts one. The round page says what each player shot for the holes played, net against par, over or under their number, and what it did to their plays-to. The card totals OUT, IN and TOT.
- While you score, a standing strip under the projection gives each player's chance of finishing top and what the chaser needs. Defender gets a siege board — the hill-holder under a castle, the attackers either side, and a hole-by-hole ledger of held, breached and halved.
- Post a tee time with the people you already coordinated with marked in, so the spots left open are the ones genuinely open. Both of a day's rounds now show in recent activity.

Read any game, set the order of play, pay from the tab
- Every game on the picker has a question mark that opens its rules without choosing it, and the Scoring row explains net and gross — strokes fall by the card's stroke index, and net changes who wins, never what went on the card.
- Wolf, Defender, Sixes and Wingman turn on who goes first. The stakes step now carries an Order of play card — numbered seats, arrows, and Flip for it — and the agreement line names the Wolf on 1. Defender marks whose watch it is on every hole.
- Put a Venmo username or Cash App cashtag on your profile and the tab's payments get Pay in Venmo, Pay in Cash App or Request in Venmo, with the person, the amount and a plain note already typed. Rivalry still never moves the money; the send is yours, in that app.
- The clubhouse poster and the home-screen widget say when a game vote is waiting on you, who is ahead, or what was settled. The widgets and the Lock Screen live activity moved to pine, so they read as Rivalry from across the room.
- Riverdale Dunes and Riverdale Knolls are two courses in the directory, each with its own card.

A new look, a game for three, and the group decides before the tee
- The whole app has been redrawn — paper by default, the group first, the round or result in front of you. Same record, quieter frame.
- 9-Point arrives for threesomes: five, three and one on every hole, settled between each pair at the end. Pick it as the main game or keep Nines riding as a side bet — the app won't let you do both, because that would settle the same nine points twice.
- Put a tee time up and, if you like, ask the group to vote between two or three complete setups. A vote is a preference; each player accepts the confirmed terms from their own account before any money is agreed.
- One round at a time per player. If someone else is already scoring your fourball, you're told who — and can take the card over, every score so far coming with it.
- Corrections belong to whoever filed the round or runs the group, save as one piece, and show in the activity. Correcting a Bingo or Wolf round no longer wipes its money.
- Bingo can keep a stroke card too, so the round counts toward your scoring average. Its recap now shows who took each point, and its rules settle two old arguments — gimmes, and who tees first on a par three.
- You hear when someone joins by the invite code and when someone answers your tee time, and the home-screen widget drops a played round on its own.
- The trophy cabinet is sculpted now, and a round in progress survives an app update.

A season can end now — and the next one can start
- Leagues have seasons. Close the year and the winner is crowned and kept; start the next and the table begins again at zero. Last year stays on the record, champion and all.
- A rained-out night can be moved to a make-up date or written off entirely — the week settles nothing, and the season stops waiting for a night that will never happen.
- League scoring runs off the card. Finish the match and the result files itself, in your league's own format — nine point, twelve point, two-a-hole and the rest — with the handicap allowance applied and a no-show scored at handicap-plus-penalty, exactly as the settings promise.
- The commissioner's desk grew up: lay out or move the calendar, record a substitution, close the season, and say one thing to the whole league — all from a keyboard.
- The app's nameplate gets out of the way while you read a sixty-row table, and comes straight back when you scroll up.

Four more games, and the empty state told the truth
- Medal arrives — everybody antes, lowest net card takes the pot. The oldest bet in golf, and the one a threesome could not previously make.
- Wingman remakes the teams on every tee; Low Ball · Low Total asks whose pair is better together; Gruesomes lets the other side pick which of your drives you play.
- A resumed back nine no longer says "Hole 13 of 9" — it names the hole you're standing on and how far through the round that is.
- A brand-new group's Record Book no longer names a record holder nobody has earned, and the You tab stops showing a Rivals heading with nothing under it.
- Twenty-five games, every one settled to zero.

Twenty-five games, and the season grows teeth
- The game library triples: Stableford, Quota, Defender, Sixes, Rabbit, Acey Deucey, Low Ball · High Ball, Daytona, Dots and Hammer join the shelf. Every one states its rules where you pick it and settles to zero.
- The Cup can now end in a December playoff — top four by November seed the bracket, every tie settled by a real round, head to head.
- The group picks its own trophy from the cabinet and engraves its name on it. The Record Book wears it.
- Ask, and the beat reporter writes up any round from the day's actual numbers. Written once, kept forever.
- The Almanac opens in the Record Book: where each of you actually wins, what company costs you, and whether you're hot.
- The commissioner's desk: unfiled rounds get nudged, drifting regulars get named, and the season's pace sits against last year's.
- The Year in Review now derives every card from your record — and cuts your photos in.
- Sign-in codes from Messages and Mail now autofill properly.
Build 75 · August 25, 2026
Photos, pools, and the Almanac
- Rounds and trips carry the group's photos — added by anyone, kept forever, free.
- Majors pools: call a tournament the way you call a Saturday. Picks seal at the first tee. Never for money.
- Preview the locked app from Settings to see what the Membership will look like after launch. The beta stays fully unlocked.
Build 72 · August 24, 2026
The Calls, house rules, and the Cup
- The Calls: pick who takes the money before a booked round tees off. Sealed until the tee, graded after.
- House rules live under every game's rules sheet — written once by whoever runs the group.
- The Season Cup card puts a clock on the money race.
- Watch a round live from anywhere, including your lock screen.
Some scores take years to settle.
