Trips

Bandon settles at Bandon.

Four days, six rounds, a house, two hire cars and a dinner nobody remembers agreeing to. The buddies trip is the best golf of the year and the worst spreadsheet. Rivalry makes it a chapter: its own schedule, its own leaderboard, its own tab — settled in one payment, kept forever.

The schedule

Built before you go, followed when you're there.

Pick the courses — the whole directory, including places nobody in the group has played — and the days. Everyone sees Friday at Pacific Dunes and Saturday at Bandon Trails, RSVPs attached. When the morning comes, the round starts from the schedule with the course already answered.

The money

The house, the carts, the golf — one number.

Every round settles on the trip's own tab, kept apart from the Tuesday game at home. Add what the trip cost — who paid, who it splits between, evenly or not — and it all nets into the fewest payments that clear the lot. Rivalry never touches the money; it's the record of what you agreed.

The chapter

Years later, the page for this trip still has the faces on it.

Photos anyone adds, the champion crowned, every card from every round, and the comments that outlive the group chat. A trip is the best story your group tells; this is where it stays told.

More detail in the help: how trips work.

Some scores take years to settle.

Rivalry is in closed beta with a handful of groups. Leave an email and we’ll tell you when there’s room.
